**3D Artist Intern (Environment \& Props)** Brightvoid Interactive ---Remote --- Internship (Paid) **About Us** Brightvoid Interactive is a small independent game studio building original titles in Unreal Engine 5. As a compact team, every member has direct impact on what ships; you'll see your assets go from reference board to in-game, not lost in a queue. **The Role** We're looking for a 3D Artist Intern focused on realistic environment art and props. You'll model, unwrap, bake, and texture production-ready assets, then help get them into engine. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn a real asset pipeline end to end. **Responsibilities** * Model realistic environment assets and props from reference and concept. * Create clean topology suitable for game use. * Handle UV unwrapping with attention to texel density consistency. * Bake high-to-low poly maps (normal, AO, curvature) and troubleshoot baking artifacts. * Author PBR materials in Substance Painter following project standards. * Follow naming conventions, folder structure, and export settings defined by the studio. * Iterate on feedback from art direction reviews. * Assist with asset integration and validation in Unreal Engine 5. **Requirements** * Solid working knowledge of **Blender** (modeling, UVs, high-poly/low-poly workflow). * Strong command of **Substance Painter** and the **PBR pipeline,** you understand metallic/roughness, and why your bake looks wrong * Understanding of real-world scale, material definition, and surface storytelling. * A portfolio weighted toward **environment art and…
