Adjunct Faculty - Computer Science (Remote / Online)

Riphah School of Computing \& Innovation (RSCI) is inviting applications from qualified computing professionals to join us as Adjunct Faculty for remote/online teaching of selected topics in various Computer Science and Computing courses offered to undergraduate and graduate students.

Eligibility \& Requirements:

• Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or another relevant computing discipline.
• Should not be a Pakistani National.
• Strong subject-matter expertise in one or more areas of Computing.
• Preference will be given to candidates currently working in the IT industry or having substantial professional industry experience.
• Candidates with specialized expertise in emerging technologies and industry practices will be particularly encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, presentation, and online teaching skills.

Engagement Model:

• The selected adjunct faculty member will work remotely/online in collaboration with a regular RSCI faculty member.
• Rather than teaching an entire course, the adjunct faculty member will be invited to teach specific topics or modules within a course based on their area of expertise.

Job Description:

The selected Adjunct Faculty member will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging online lectures/sessions on assigned topics within undergraduate or graduate Computing courses.
• Collaborating with the regular course instructor to ensure alignment with the course learning outcomes, syllabus, and academic schedule.
• Bringing practical industry knowledge, current technologies, tools, and real-world case studies into the classroom.
• Preparing and delivering presentations, demonstrations, examples, and other learning materials for assigned topics.
• Providing relevant learning resources or references where appropriate.

Honorarium:

USD 50-100 per teaching hour.

The engagement will be on an adjunct/visiting basis, with the number of teaching hours determined according to course requirements and the instructor's area of expertise.
