MEP Engineer

About the role

The MEP Engineer will coordinate and oversee mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems from design review through installation, testing and handover. The role requires strong multidisciplinary coordination, site awareness and the ability to translate design requirements into practical, compliant and maintainable building-services installations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, specifications and equipment schedules across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and related systems.
• Coordinate MEP interfaces with architecture, structure, civil, landscape and interior design to identify and resolve clashes before installation.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material/equipment submissions, method statements and technical proposals for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor MEP installation works on site, checking workmanship, routing, access, coordination, safety and compliance with approved information.
• Respond to RFIs and technical queries and work with consultants and contractors to close issues promptly.
• Track procurement and delivery of long-lead MEP equipment and identify potential programme impacts early.
• Coordinate testing, inspection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and integrated systems testing.
• Verify installation against approved drawings, manufacturer requirements and applicable Indonesian codes and standards.
• Support value engineering and technical optimisation without compromising safety, performance, maintainability or guest/user experience.
