HR Generalist

About the role

BYD is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Generalist to manage end-to-end Human Resources operations for our growing organization. This role will play a key part in establishing and managing its HR operations, ensuring compliance with Indonesian employment regulations, and supporting business growth. The successful candidate will oversee multiple HR functions, including recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, payroll, expatriate and visa administration, and employee relations. This position requires a well-rounded HR professional who can work independently, solve problems effectively, and manage day-to-day HR operations with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Handle compensation and benefits, monthly payroll, PPh 21, BPJS, and employee benefits administration.
• Manage employee relations, employment contracts, and compliance with Indonesian manpower regulations.
• Coordinate expatriate administration, including visa and work permit processes.
• Maintain HR documentation, employee records, HR policies, and procedures.
• Prepare HR reports and continuously improve HR processes to support business needs.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Management, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with strong hands-on experience across multiple HR functions.
